Back in February 2025, another incredible HeART Fest took place. This third annual fine art market is now bigger than before and will showcase a captivating display of creativity and talent, featuring artistic expressions by Artisans' Guild of Camas members. We heard the community loved exploring a super-local selection of paintings, glass, textiles, jewelry, acrylics, ceramics, gifts, and many other astonishing pieces of art for sale.
Meet The Artists

Gabrielle Alice
Watercolor, gouache
Gabrielle Alice, founder of the brand Gabrialice, is captivated by the natural world and all creatures within it. She uses watercolor and gouache to create bright quirky original pieces. Her art reflects her surroundings in the PNW and impressions of her time living in Paris, Lausanne, and London.

Lara Blair
Mixed media, clay, resin
Lara creates three-dimensional art that blends whimsy and narrative, inspired by the joy and curiosity from her childhood. Drawing on her background as a portrait photographer, she uses storytelling and composition to craft tactile scenes with plaster, clay, resin, paint, wood, and found objects.

Janiece Brown
Jewelry, trinkets, bags, mobiles, sun catchers
Janiece has created her whole life. From creating clothes at the age of eight to remodeling houses later in life. After retirement, she started making jewelry in many mediums from cutting stones, to making cabochons for creations of jewelry pieces with wire, metal and fabric.

Sharon Buckmaster
Mixed media, wearable art
OK so you gotta get dressed every day right? Might as well make it fun. With my OOAK brooches and bracelets you can give any outfit a twist that says "YOU. Using vintage buttons and felt, my pieces are original and way fun. So why be ordinary when you can be unique?

Phyllis Carter
Fused glass, mosaics
Phyllis Carter was drawn to the fused glass art form because of the bright jewel tones as well as the muted pastels. Likewise, she appreciates the fragility of glass and the fact that it can survive for centuries. It can be representational, abstract or geometric, wall art or three dimensional.

Judi Clark
Acrylic & mixed medium
Since relocating to Camas, I’ve experienced a profound sense of discovery. Having spent much of my life in Seattle, I cherished it, Camas brings a fresh perspective that feels both new & familiar. Art has not only transformed my life but has also provided me with a sense of freedom and joy that I’ve never quite felt before.

Shannon Daly
Soft pastel
Shannon is a fine artist living in Vancouver, Washington with her husband, two little boys, and fuzzy red dog. After having her first baby, she left her career as a software technical writer to follow her childhood dream of being an artist. She works with soft pastels to create cheerful and delicate floral artwork. She hopes they bring a smile to your face and beauty to your home.

Tamara Dinius
2D Mixed Media
Tamara Dinius is a mixed media artist whose work explores transformation, resilience, and personal truth. Using layered textures, bold marks, and intuitive color, she creates pieces that invite reflection and connection. Her art celebrates the imperfect, the evolving, and the beautifully human stories we all carry within us.

Jacqui Dowsett
Ceramics, hand built and wheelthrown
Jacqui Dowsett landed 35 years ago in the PNW from London, UK and has been involved in ceramic art for much of that time. Her work is both wheel thrown and hand built and she loves bringing texture and color to functional pottery pieces. She uses interactive glazes on texture and finishes her pieces with colorful food safe glazes.

LesleyAnne Ezelle
Rugs, scarfs, hats and ceramics
I work in two different mediums: clay and fiber. As an alpaca farmer I create product from the fiber that I harvest each year. I blend natural and dyed color into my work. I create felted product, rugs and woven scarfs. As a ceramic hand builder I create functional but fun funky pieces. I create templates that form the foundation for each piece, to create pattern I use lace and indian wooden.

Alecia Hall’s work explores the emotional depth of everyday life through intuitive, evolving techniques in acrylics, oils, pastels, and inks. Often featuring wildlife, her pieces reflect human resilience and emotion, aiming to create visual experiences that connect, heal, and resonate with the shared spectrum of life.

Alison Hardin
Clay, ceramic artist
Alison Hardin creates woodfired ceramic art in Portland, Oregon, where she has worked for over 25 years. Her handbuilt forms explore the edge of sculpture and function, layered with texture, slips, underglaze, ash, and flame. Each piece celebrates imperfection and the relationship between humans and the natural world.

Sally Hart
Oil, watercolors
Sally Hart, a self-taught artist from Indiana, paints flowers, still lifes, and natural settings in oils and watercolors.

Seiko Hirose
One-of-a-kind handcrafted jewelry
I have been jewelry artsit for over 40 years. After retired I design one of a kind. I create mostly earrings some pins. Also I am paint on stone artist as well. I go large art show like Salem Art Festival but after retired over 75 years age I do much smaller and mostly local art shows and local Xmas bazaars in November. I create much more take time and one of a kind only now to sell in local most.

Lux Johnson

Lux Johnson is a scientific and wildlife illustrator living in Camas, Washington. Their work focuses on Pacific Northwest native species and hard science, using art to explore and depict the natural world. They create to understand, and to help the others do the same.

Gina Johnston
Metalsmith working in silver, copper, brass and enamel jewelry and small objects
With backgrounds in healthcare and interior design, Gina’s discovery of metalsmithing was a happy accident—and it was love at first hammer blow! Now she creates organic, expressive jewelry and objects through playful experimentation with texture, patina, and form. Her work reflects movement, curiosity, and the occasional wink of whimsy.

Adam Marker, a self-taught mixed media and encaustic artist from Indiana explores creativity using various materials and beeswax, fusing layers to create unique art.

Kathy Marty
Fiber arts (weaving, sewing)
Using two antique looms, Kathy weaves eco-friendly rugs from recycled Pendleton Mills wool selvage (the raw edges trimmed from Pendleton blankets). She also enjoys designing home décor using Pendleton fabric. Kathy loves sharing the process and joy of her craft; and making something of beauty for others is deeply satisfying.

Toni McCarthy
Jewelry
Everything in Toni McCarthy's jewelry is of superior quality. Glass and gemstones are the biggest color components; however, she also designs by tinning and stamping hot solder onto various metal bases to create original elements for bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Making fused/reticulated copper, brass, sterling silver, and extensive wirework are her favorite techniques.

Leslie Mcmillan
Metalsmithing, jewelry
Leslie started working with silver in high school. After a full filling career in vaccine policy work she came back to metalsmithing late in life. Now she challenges herself working with Japanese Silver Leaf and turquoise stones sourced from First Nation artists. Her creative process is unorganized a little like her ADHD personality!

Sandy Moore

Fabric has always had special meaning for me. When I hold fabric in my hands, I feel connected to the generations of women who came before. In this challenging time, my studio brings me joy and my hope is that others will experience that same joy when they experience my work.

Jay Myers

Jay Myers uses art and writing to evoke childlike wonder. Through visual storytelling, he explores the mysterious, simple, and outlandish. He transforms discarded materials into art. Each piece carries history, layered with illustrations of forgotten things that invite viewers to find beauty in the abandoned. Jay has written three books.

Deborah Nagano

Deborah Nagano has a wide variety of artistic interests-from oil portraiture, to alcohol ink paintings to mixed media collage. Her work can be serious or whimsical, from a beautiful sunset to Van Gogh in the emergency room. If her heart makes you smile, she’s content

Ellen Nordgren

Ellen was born and raised in Portland Oregon and currently lives in Washougal WA. She studied and painted watercolor for several years before moving into acrylic, and oil & cold wax. Using color, shape and texture, she weaves her experiences and stories; whether traumatic, angry, peaceful or joyful, her painting are an interpretation of her many emotions around love, loss, life and healing.

Kavitha Ramachandran is a hobby artist. A few years ago, a rough sketch she made on a Halloween pumpkin rekindled her desire to learn drawing. She enrolled in an art school and has been training for 5 years. She inclines towards realistic art.

Ariel Russell

Ariel Russell is a native Camasonian that has been an artist for as long as she’s been able to hold a pencil. Her first love was traditional drawing, but she’s also branched out to digital art, colored pencils, acrylics, and watercolors. Her preferred subject? People of all shapes and sizes.

Ken Spurlock

Ken Spurlock is a mixed media abstract artist who enjoys the movement of paint on canvas or drawing freehand on paper. He is an award-winning artist and Clark County Open Studios artist (2023 & 2025). He has been featured in one man shows and collective shows. He was a guest artist at the Creating Space show at Plas Newydd Farm in 2025. He is inspired by nature and his own creative imagination.

Erin Thornbrue

An emerging artist based in Washougal, WA, Erin creates vivid, textured works that blend nature, spirit, and human experience. With playful abstraction, bold color, and humor, her paintings and mixed media pieces invite emotion, spark contemplation, and explore the dynamic interplay of form and feeling.

Jennie is a contemporary artist whose work is deeply rooted in the colors, textures, and subtle power of being in the natural world.
